I have been here before and really liked this place with shops from high fashion brands. Of course the bars and restaurants also ask a lot of money for a simple lunch or glass of wine. So, be warned. This summer I really was disappointed...More

We spent one night in Portofino after spending three in Cinque Terre. CT is pretty. Portofino is beautiful! The Marine Protected Area of Portofino includes all of the towns along the promontory including Camogli, Portofino and S. Margherita Ligure. The harbor of Portofino is beautiful,...More

We sailed in here for a quick look around. The weather was glorious, the view stunning. Portofino is a must stop for a long, lazy lunch by the water, watching all the beautiful boats and yachts arrive, and people watching too. Absolutely gorgeous, we will...More

We spent the afternoon wandering through the streets and also admiring the beautiful waters of Portofino. Short little ferry from Santa Margherita. When taking the ferry from there, stay on the right side of the ferry so you get to see Portofino as you arrive...More

A nice port town South-east of Milan. Approximately 2.5hours train ride and 15mins bus ride from station. Lots of eateries by the bay with great view as well as shops such as ferragamo and longchamp. Spend sometime to roam the town.

The small town is clustered around a small harbor; cliffs of bright green soar into the sky, buildings painted in a rainbow of colors welcome visitors, and the churches, castle, shops, botanical garden, and the lighthouse & bar demand closer inspection. Ah, what a glorious...More

The main tourist bit is actually quite small, but full of wonderful charm and cobbled streets. We were staying in Rapallo where good pizza were €4 and prosecco €3 a glass. In Portofino, you will pay €20 for each. But the place is well worth...More
