It is worth the climb. The castle is exquisite old furniture mixed with contemporary pictures. Beautiful gardens with ancient roses and jasmine. A must go when in. Portofino

Go for the view of Portofino harbor. The castle itself is just ok. It takes about 10-15 minutes to reach the castle. Entance is 5 euro cash only.

Tickets are not expensive, €5. It is a small castle, not much inside, but the views are fabulous, the best views of Portofino small bay are from here. You cannot miss them.

Castello Brown is a house museum built in the 15th Century as a fort and then was transformed into a villa in 1867. The views from this setting are very beautiful. Visited the area while on a boat tour.

Worth a bit of a hike to get there, great movie to watch on the history of the Castello to help you understand more about the people who lived here in the past. We loved the views, spectacular scenery !

It took me about 30 minutes to climb. It's a solid hike. Not sure if there is any transportation available. The views are breathtaking.
