We took the funicular from Zecco and walked around the corner to it, mainly because we couldn't find the lift! The views are stunning, especially looking down at the Via Garibaldi palaces.

After the long walk up steep streets, I was rewarded with sweeping views over the city. Too bad it was foggy the day I went! On a nice day with plenty of sun and blue sky, this park/terrace must be a great place to hang...More

Easy to access with the funiculars. You can see the most of the Genova bay from here and the whole old town. There is a very nice Gelateria on the top.

This is worth a trip up the elevator to see a nice view if the city. The approach is very pretty also. You would need to purchase a ticket at the machine the hallway as you approach the elevator.

This is a must do activity in Genoa and easy to find. The view 360 degree view was really magnificent. Walked the shops and cafes. The locals were very obliging. Obviously pick your day to get the view and earlier in the day is better.

If you want a photo of the city from above, this is the easiest place to come. A few restaurants and cafes nearby. Easy access by public elevator.
