Be sure to stop to see this lovely church. The church wall goes down to the water. It was first built in 1308. See pictures. It is spiritual.

Beautiful stone little church. Easy to forget you’re in one of the probably most touristy places in Italy in summer. Hearing the waves helps. Overall peaceful and serene. Even my children were in awe and quietly sat down, meditating??

While the hustle and bustle of tourism surrounds you, take a few moments to step back in time and enjoy the serenity of this small church. Hear the sounds of the sea through the windows and reflect on how things were before tourism.

This 1300 Church is worth a visit. It is an active church that is not overly decorated with a beautiful bell tower. What we enjoyed was sitting outside on a cement patio. This was a shady, relaxing quiet area that overlooked the water. Very peaceful!

Old church in town that is active. People were saying rosary when we came in so we didn’t stay long. Old historic building and interior. Church bell rings every hour and on the half hour as well.
