In the crowded streets of Vernazza, take a moment to gather your thoughts in a 14th century church that sits by the sea with only natural light illuminating the interior of this lovely space. With so much activity outside in the villages of Cinque Terre...More

This 1300 Church is worth a visit. It is an active church that is not overly decorated with a beautiful bell tower. What we enjoyed was sitting outside on a cement patio. This was a shady, relaxing quiet area that overlooked the water. Very peaceful!

Old church in town that is active. People were saying rosary when we came in so we didn’t stay long. Old historic building and interior. Church bell rings every hour and on the half hour as well.

This church is worth a peek if you are in the town square of Vernazza. Compared to the churches in the other Cinque Terre towns, this church is the largest and most interesting. Simple style but unique entrance as you ascend to the main body...More

While all the churches in the region are similar, old, same materials etc, each has it's own identity. This beaut little Church overlooks the public square & the harbour and what it may lack in historical value , it more then makes up for it...More

Like most of the nearby churches, this church is cute and worth a look if you're nearby, but not a must-see. We didn't get the opportunity to go inside.

This beautiful little church in its simplicity moved me more than many of the grand churches and cathedrals I visited while in Italy. So calm and peaceful, at the edge of the town, overlooking the ocean it is easy to imagine centuries of worshippers making...More

This small church is situated in a beautiful location perched on a square overlooking the quaint harbour. It does not have frescoes and artworks like many other Italian churches, but is worth a quick visit.
