If you plan to visit Trieste, I advise you to climb these stairs. Once at the top you will have a great view over the city and will be a few steps away from the San Giusto Castle :-).

Nothing spectacular but different and unique. From the top is a magical look. There are plenty of climbing stairs. Nothing is paid.

This monument is in a really sad state of disrepair. Covered in graffiti and stinking of urine, it's really not very pleasant at all. I passed by here on the way up to the castello, but there's certainly no reason to justify visiting this place...More

The GF and I found the monumento on the way back down the hill from the cathedral. It could be amazing but unfortunately has graffiti everywhere and garbage in the water. It's a real shame because it could be wonderful

These stairs are a bit of a climb but they give great views of the city/. They are also a monument to the history and architecture of Trieste - with various placards and carvings
