This is a small museum with several exhibits describing the history of mosaics. Reproductions, paintings/drawings and a few original pieces walk you through the history of mosaics. Worth a short visit if you are in the area.

It's a collection of copies, pictures of mosaics, and contemporary art. Contains some tools and samples of tesseras as well. Nothing worth of visiting if you have average education. Might be interesting for children.

I wish there was a little more in the way of English translation but it was fascinating. The collection of the 1960’s works themed on Dante’s work was an added bonus

You can't miss this museum when visiting Ravenna if you love mosaics. It's got a lot of information about mosaics and their history. It wasn't really a museum for me because I went to a lot of places where they had/have mosaics in Ravenna. Once...More
