A little more modest compared to other duomos with its bare brickwork naves. Nonetheless, worth pausing to look inside and reflect on its simple beauty.

Inside you won't see much but plywood and screens and scaffolding. Maybe it will be good in a few years.

Fortunately we were here briefly last year and got to see this ancient enormous church, because much of what we saw last fall is not accessible and I have no sense of a completion date

Interior is being restored, so alot is covered up with scaffolding. It is a big church inside but hard to judge with plastic covering everything

The outside of this cathedral is very nice, with lots of little decorative elements to be discovered. One just needs to sun, to have a great light. The interior is currently largely hidden by scaffolding, which makes the rest of the church also very dark,...More

The exterior is nicer than its interior. Never visited the tower. If you are a fan of cathedrals then it is better to venture to Firenze and Milano where they are breathtaking.

We think about 11€ each. Purchase at the front ticket office in front of the Duomo - but walk around to the rear entrances.
