You won't be disappointed. Quite a hike up the hill but well worth it. Awesome view to the area and a exploration of local history.

Its not a tourist destination, but it is a must do if you are in Campobasso. A brief visit will be fine, just include it on your itinerary for the day.

Built in 1450, you can walk up from the city center and entry is free. Commanding views of the surrounding area and the city, well worth 2-3 hours of wandering around and exploring.
