Spread over two floors in the Ducal palace, the museum has some fine pieces and gives a sense of the sophistication and achievement of Duke Federico. He was a true Renaissance prince and epitomized the qualities extolled by Erasmus and others for the ideal ruler....More

This is an outstanding collection of Renaissance painting in a very impressive building. However the two great Piero della Francescas and Rafael's La Muta would be worth a special trip all on their own.

Impressive art displayed within the Ducal Palace. I have just written a review under the palace listing as didn't realise the gallery had a separate listing.
