This majestic monument is at the end of A tree-lined avenue. It is truly awesome and beautiful reminder of the past. You can walk all around it.

Memorials are normally emotional. This is in a spectacular spot and the views are really good. There is a new lift that takes you down to the rocky beach, which is a lovely place to walk.

A leisurely walk down the tree-lined Vaile della Vittoria leads to the Monumento ad Caiduti, a striking monument overlooking the Adriatic. A short walk down the many stepped path leads through the park area leads to the water's edge.

An amazing place with spectacular views. Ancona is truly a place that needs visiting, it is not the most touristic but this adds to its charm as it is unspoilt by being too busy.
