This fascinating piece of art stands in the courtyard of the Vatican Museum. Created by Arnaldo Pomodoro, it symbolises the fragility and complexity of the world. It is a beautiful and unusual piece of art and worth a visit.

Our tour guide spun the spere for us to see while on our Vatican trip. It's the only art work he can touch.

A most unusual peace of art. It's tranquil but interesting at the same time. Not a something everyone can relate too.

Wow.. Its really eye catching Sphere in Vatican Musuem. I visited Vatican City and really thrilled to be at this place. The metallic spherical structure (called Sphere Within Sphere) is moving and the place is worth seeing.

Nice modern art work set in timeless surroundings , the sphere actually moves as the girl in the picture was doing , don’t think you were supposed to touch it though

Our guide gave it a spin and showed us its uniqueness. It's really a nice break from the many marble statues. Don't miss the nearby Pinecone.

It was wonderful to see Arnaldo Pomodoro’s Sphere within a Sphere, in the courtyard within the Vatican. A truly beautiful piece of work.
