This is the official residence of the Pope. It is also known as Papal Palace. Just like the whole of the Vatican complex this is also beautiful. Cannot miss this.

An amazing place , security is high, bags are scanned on entry. Many policeman are seen in groups and only there for public protection.

This is the official residence of the Pope. Located next to St. Piotr Basilica, Sistine Chapel and St. Piotr Square

The Apolistic Palace is the Pope's Palace in the Vatican. It is the apartments where the Pope typically has lived.

A huge palace for the Pope...but the current Pope does not reside in the palace as he is much more frugal and stays at another location of much less grandeur.

This is the area of the papal apartments where over the years many popes have lived and died but don't look for Pope Francis here. He lives in a much simpler place.

Since we have not seen this building from the inside, it's hard to say anything more about it than the famous balcony (which is not really a balcony but one of the big windows facing St. Peter's Square and where the pope sometimes speaks). Just...More
