The temple overlooks the Gregoriana Park and the best views of it are from there where it sits above the cascade on the skyline. You can exit the park by the temple to inspect it more closely. Nice circular form and impressive situation. The Sibilla...More

We nipped in to look at this site because the Parco gates were open. It's a bit hemmed in on one side by the terrace of a posh restaurant of the same name but the proportions of the circular structure are classically beautiful.

This is one of two local jewels of Ancient Rome. Best viewing from the Villa Gregoriana Park or from one of the two restaurants by the park. Sybil was a prophetess who predicted the birth of Christ

This was at the end of our walk through the Gregorian Villa. It was a nice temple to see but there's not much else there.

Wonderfully simple small temple on a rocky outcrop above the river. Amazing setting. We had the good fortune to be eating in the Sibilla restaurant so had the temple next to our table for a good few hours.
