Take your time... between the villa and the grounds you could be there for at least a couple of hours. So much to see, and it's all stunning.

Very nice to go on a romantic walk. Personally I found the tickets a tad expensive. But if you enjoy walking through a big, beautiful garden and rooms of exquisite art, you’ll find it definitely worthwhile.

This is one of the world's greatest Renaissance gardens. A must visit. 50 minutes by train from EUR 5 each way. The villa has frescoed ceilings and lovely views although no furniture. The famous garden is even more splendid than the photographs. Really worth seeing...More

Very beautiful! Unfortunately, it rained heavily on the day we were there but we still managed to enjoy the Villa. The fountain with the water organ appeared to not be working which was a shame; same for the many little fountains at the central stairs...More

The villa was interesting to visit, however the highlight of Villa d'Este is its gardens. We spent the morning strolling through the villa and enjoying its gardens and fountains. A must see if you are visiting Tivoli.

This was our second visit to this wonderful place and we were delighted to notice several improvements - fountains which had been out of order, now working, the Palazzo opento the public and the amazing water organ now playing at intervals. The garden has the...More

I booked with a tour company from Rome. So I don’t know the cost of just one attraction. Sorry. My tour included Villa D’este and Villa Adriana. As well as my transportation to and from Rome’s city center.
