About
Come cook with us in Rome! It's a fun way to spend a day in Rome. You start out at a market where you will shop for your fresh produce. You will also do a small walking tour in the historic center on the way to our studio. Afterwards, you will learn to make pasta from scratch: fettucine, cavatelli, ravioli. You'll learn how to make an antipasto and 2 different pasta sauces. And let's not forget the dessert: tiramisu! We love teaching kids to cook- our lessons are fun for the whole family!

My wife and I and our two girls (8 and 11) did the afternoon session with Cesare and Gianni. The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming; the two gents were very attentive to the kids making the session very enjoyable for them. The instruction and provided was very clear and gave us the tools and confidence to try and replicate at home! Genuinely a fantastic experience and would recommend to anyone interested in cooking or even if you just need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city!

My sister and I truly enjoyed our class with Gianni and his assistant chef. He is bi-trilingual and very personable.
It was one of our best experiences in Rome. Come with an empty stomach!
We look forward to receiving the recipes from Gianni soon! Teresfister123@gmail.com

This cooking class is not only fun and entertaining but also extremely educational too. You are experiencing with all your senses. They teach you how hard or rather not hard pressure to need the pasta dough, and all the things to do and not to do, how to choose the vegetable ETC. I went alone and left with lots of friends! Really really loved it!

An excellent experience. Each of us had many opportunities to get an individual hands-on experience in working with anchovies, making sauce, two finds of pasta and tiramisu. Lively! Lots of fun with Gianni and Cesare, who kept us laughing while still making sure that our results were great to eat. And finished off by a great yummy meal.

This class was one of the BEST memories we made during our honeymoon in Italy. It was fun, informative, interactive, and one of the best run cooking experiences I've ever had. I appreciate Cesare's approach and the honored sensitivity to regionally and cultural differences around meat, kosher, etc. Cesare also took to the time to visit with us, answer questions, and share in conversations around food and culture around the globe. Cesare also shares the recipes with you. Some of the ingredients may be harder to source based on where you're located, so he gave us recommendations based on our locations for alternative foods to us. It felt like we were truly having dinner with friends and family. It also was our favorite meal in Italy!!! This class is something we will cherish forever.

You'll be glad you did this! From the minute you arrive to the smell of homemade Italian to the music playing in the background... Our family of 4, 2 adults and 11 and 13 y/o children had a fantastic time with Gianni cooking in Rome. All our food was amazing! Preparing the food and pasta together was fun and easy and led by an expert! So friendly and warm... like we are in his home! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a break from the ancient tours and an exciting time ending with a delicious meal! Plenty of prosecco while you prep and wine flowing with dinner! We prepped and ate 4 courses... fried stuffed zucchini blossoms, cavatelli, fettuccine, and tiramisu!

Our family of 4 (two adults, 2 teens) signed up for this class because it had a more extensive menu than the others and it was available on Christmas Day. Gianni welcomed us the moment we walked in, and showed us to the elegant cooking space. The 10 of us made Roman artichokes, zucchini blossoms, two pastas (by hand) and sauces, and tiramisu. Much wine was offered and consumed and the mood was positive throughout. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Rome!

Our class was with Gianni, and he was charismatic and easy to follow. He helped each person out individually and made sure nobody screwed anything up or fell behind. He split up the work evenly between everyone so everyone got turns watching and participating. The other people in our class were lovely and we got to know them over dinner.

Our whole family really enjoyed cooking with Gianni and Cesare. They were patient, kind, and knowledgeable with our kids and the adults. The class was a nice combination of cooking and eating! Everyone stayed engaged the entire time.
