Last of the Papal Basilicas we visited was St. Paul's. A path less treaded.. You'll not see a lot of crowd here as compared to the other major attractions in Rome, but in no way is it any lesser then the others. What a magnificent...More

The tomb of St. Paul was unbelievable! Beautiful. Your pictures will do it no justice. you really have to experience it in person. Drinks lots of water during the summer. lots of people. be wary of pick pockets outside and anywhere near a crowds.

St. Paul's is a fabulously beautiful papal basilica. Mosaics, gardens, sculptures, and other art decorate the church. The site includes an archaeological exhibit, a gift shop, and a small cafe.

This basilica is off the beaten tracks, probably because it’s not in the city centre with all the others. It’s a shame, because it’s so beautiful that it shouldn’t be missed, but it’s also good as you don’t get pestered by street hawkers. The place...More

Take the Metro B to S Paolo and enjoy this magnificent church. Beautiful mosaics, and monastery courtyard, and dont’t miss the underground museum of recent archaelogical discoveries.

What a beautiful basilica! This basilica has a different look than most; reminded me of somethg I’d expect to see in The Holy Land. Lighting is gorgeous in here.

I was here to attend a special service: but even so, it is an exciting place to explore. Well worth making a visit out of central Rome to discover this stunning building. Without all its seating it looks like the ball room of a grand...More

We came here while on tour and were fascinated. It was nice to have a guide who could point things out that we wouldn't have noticed. This is a beautiful church and everyone should take a few minutes to just take it all in.

It is beautiful from the outside. There was a fair going on during my visit and we couldn’t find our way in. It is as beautiful as the many churches in Rome. Some good restaurants in the area and nice park.
