We came here for the boxing - big screens, good drinks selection and a great atmosphere. There was a little discrepancy with the payment for 'doubles' but looks as though the misunderstanding was ours. The nachos are awesome, the wedges are salty - but decent...More

Haha... thanks for the sharing your feedback here. I remember those "double" vodkas indeed. The girl behind the bar did give you "double" local measures which in Italy is a quadruple quantity of alcohol according to the UK standards - hence quite a dangerous dose...More
We visit Rome several times a year and have always found this pub to be a great pitstop, no matter what the weather. In the winter it is cozy and warm, in the summer it is an oasis of cool. We love the selection of...More
Visited this pub as we believed it to be a SPORTS Bar, but turned out it’s a FOOTBALL Bar. Tried to watch the MoroGP here, in the home country of Rossi and Dovizioso, surely an easy mission? While all started well the sound was switched...More

Just answered your partner (or it might be the same person, don't know) on her google review...Looks like you were quite frustrated that you could not watch the motoGP with its commentary. I'm sorry we did not live up to your expectations, really. We are...More
Visited this pub on our last night in Rome to watch the Premier League first game of the season. Great atmosphere, everyone was encouraged to sit beside each other which added to the experience. Drink prices were reasonable. Would recommend a visit.
After 6 days in nearly 100 degree temps, we sought out a/c comfort in this basement pub. Cold rooms, cold beer & ESPN game channel were thoroughly enjoyed by all. They can get several USA sports stations on different TVs. It was a welcoming establishment.
Me and my friend went to the Highlander on our first night in Rome and had so much fun, we came back every night. The place itself is decorated and the staff are AMAZING. They were so lovely, funny and friendly !!! They play beer...More
This place is amazing and has a great atmosphere with people and staff that keep you always entertained! Wish I had this bar back home in the States. Thanks for the pics, games, boat party and great friendships formed!
My brother and father went to this pub at 2am to watch the Capitals play. The pub stayed open for them to watch the game even though they were supposed to be closed which was SO NICE of them! The manager even sat with them...More

Haha, thanks for dropping by and sharing this. Didn’t expect it from the daughter/sister of the those ultimate caps fans (you personally never made it to our bar, did you?) but this is really awesome. Thanks again for spreading the word.
The Highlander Pub
Found this place looking for places that served cider, but was a little difficult to find! Straight forward service and seating in a dark area, like a proper sports pub really. They show sky sports here.
Thank Chris P

From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to
look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
