We had an excellent guide, Raf, on our 'beat the lines' tour booked through Viator. Still lots of people, it seemed, at the start, but when you saw the crowds following later in the tour, it was indeed not too crowded on our tour. We...More

The Roman Guy’s night tour will accomplish that! And few operators do, so you will also avoid crowds—and heat of the day. Our tour guide was superb, too.
