Piazza della Rotonda is just in front of Pantheon. There is a fountain with an Egyptian obelisk standing there and surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Music players and horse cart drivers are there to attract tourists. Nice to relax here after viewing the internal portion...More

This square, Piazza della Rotonda is where the Pantheon is. There is a fountain and Egyptian obelisk in the center of the square. Some cafes and restaurants too.

This square is relatively small but it quite a significant one, it houses the entrance to the Pantheon and an adorable fountain. This little square was bustling and had a wonderful atmosphere.

The Pantheon is located in the south end of this piazza. There are several appealing restaurants nearby, and a nice fountain in the middle.

It really depends the type of place you stay in. I stayed in a lovely small hotel about 4 doors down for about 200AUD a night
