Next to Rome Tremini train station, unassuming, even ugly from outside, this chuch was actually built in the pool areas of the Diocletiian Baths by Michelangelo!!! The red marble columns are original to the baths and it is funny to imagine Romans bathing and exercising...More

This was recommended to us by our taxi driver and it was definitely worth the visit beautiful place stunning artwork. Outside it looks like a fallen down old building but inside it is magnificent. So glad we went to look at it.

The Church is located next to Piazza della Repubblica and doesn't make you look twice from the outside. But, behind the walls, there is trually a remarkable Church. Definitely, a must go!

Peaceful church, a place not crowded, with areas where you can meditate. Remarkable is the spectacular way that the existing bath spaces were shaped architecturally..

Imagine Michelangelo taking a whole section of neglected Diocletian thermal bath and creating inside a Christian church on behalf of Pope Paul IV in 1562! It's really something unique because still today you walk in a church that is at the same time the roman...More

Certainly you won't miss this church if you're coming from Rome's Termini station travelling to St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican on bus #64. You'll see it on your right side as soon as the bus moves around Piazza Reppublica. It is so close to...More

Stopped in for a quick visit when passing and found this absolutely magnificent church and its wonderful artwork. Located close to the Metro at Repubblica, it would be very easy to just pass by however I would recommend a visit inside if in the area.

Worth a visit because of the sun clock. It is not a sundial for the hours of the day but a long line for the date of the year plus some other astronomical features.
