We stumbled across Free Walking tours, and we will use them everywhere possible from now on! Nikola was a great, informative guide in Rome, starting at the Spanish Steps. He gave history, information and suggestions, and set the stage for our days to come in...More

Though we visited many familiar sites, Gastone gave a unique and fascinating look at the architecture of many well known buildings, fountains and more. Well worth the trip whether you have been to Rome before or this is your first time.

My husband, teenager and I took the morning walking tour on our first full day in Rome which included time to go into the Pantheon. Since many of Rome's famous attractions are not on main streets (and not accessible by a Hop-On-Hop Off Bus), it...More

Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields
to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most
desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best
place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and
Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with
enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s
best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a
fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to
