If you have a spare 2 or 3 hrs and have had you fill of ruins and museums, this is definitively worth making the effort to see. There are 2 or 3 catacombs in Rome, and after a bit of research decided that these would...More

A nice serene place to walk and look around. The catacombes were interesting and the guide informative.

So interesting...so much history. It’s difficult to imagine you are so far underground and that it goes a long way...no good if you get freaked out about these thing! Guide spoke really good English. Really enjoyed this. Worth the money.

We spent an amazing day with our private guide from Eyes of Rome. Her name was Serena and she is FABULOUS! She has a real love and passion for Rome, and enjoys sharing that with visitors. She also has an encyclopedia for a brain, and...More

There is nothing near the catacombs. Our guide just walked us through. If this was our first catacomb we would have no idea what anything was. There are better choices right in Rome.

We wanted to visit one of the catacombs whilst in Rome and this one did not disappoint, imagine back in the days when the original passageways and openings were dug by hand in oil light for the Tufo which made many of the roman buildings...More

My husband and I decided to do something different on this day trip to Rome. We wanted to see the catacombs but weren't sure how to get there so we booked a ride on the City Sightseeing Tour Bus. It cost us a total of...More

You cannot wander around the catacomb without a tour guide, that said we just turned up ie no prior booking and were added to a tour straight away. It was very interesting, but we were probably only in there about 30 minutes

These catacombs are slightly outside of the main tourist area of Rome but we are really glad we made the effort to visit. The tour is included in the ticket price and the guid was really good!

Nothing scary, but be aware that you move under the ground and in a narrow path. As long as your children are not afraid, you would enjoy it.

We found it easy to buy on arrival - we went later afternoon in late Oct (UK half term week) no problem or waiting around at all. Enjoy!
