We discovered this square by accident and would now consider it the best in Rome. It also has a very good church whose name eludes me and my wife even got to a cardinal who was on a visit. The fountains are fantastic

I have visited Rome many times and the Piazza Navona is one of my favorite places. Bernini’s fountain is amazing and worth the walk. It is also an interesting neighborhood.

Piazza Navona has many excellent restaurants. Old world with the best food but there isnt a restaurant that has bad food in Italy.

It’s of people, but the piazza can handle it and not seem too crowded. Lovely oasis and great for people watching and enjoying the three fountains.

Just a great atmosphere with plenty of cafes and restaurants. Yes , they are tourist restaurants but they are quite good and are enjoyable to places to just sit and people watch.
