This is the fastest and easiest way to get to Roma Termini from the airport. Very clean trains, best to wait and buy tickets from the terminal where you board.

The fastest and easiest way to get from the FCO airport to Rome or vise versa. Don't need to worry about the traffic, depart every 30 minutes, however the cost is twice as much as taking a bus (16 Euro vs 8 Euro).

Shuttle train from Fiumicino airport to Rome central station. If you are travelling in a group of 3 or less, then this a cheap way into the city. For 4 or more people, a taxi is cheaper as there is a fixed price of €48....More

By far, the easiest way to get from FCO airport to Roma City. Cheap, quick and no need to worry about getting stuck in traffic. I wouldn’t hesitate on using this at all.

Took the Leonardo Express from the airport to Waterloo where we picked up an underground for St. Pancras. Fine way to get into London without much hassle.

I purchased mine online and if I’m correct you are given 90-120 minutes of leeway on the ticket (if not more). So I would purchase online and you should be good. Especially since customs / immigration takes no time at all.
