Small square which was packed full of people on a Saturday evening. A good place to start exploration of Trastevere’s many bars and restaurants.

This is a fab place to hang out at night especially sitting on the steps of the church and listening to the many buskers who have 30-60 mins sets. Loads of people wondering around, great people watching!

Located on the Trastevere side of Ponte Sisto, is this lovely square that has many side streets full of eateries and bear for the night owls. The steps leading down, from the fountain is a favourite place for (young) locals to hang out. After being...More

Stopped here, before exploring Trastevere. A small square but filled with character and bordered by some lovely buildings. The small narrow roads that ran off the square invited one to explore further.

This relatively small Piazza Trilussa is surrounded by nice buildings and sights. It's name derives from the Italian dialect poet, Carlo Alberto Salustri (1873-1950), better known by his pen name of Trilussa. You'l find a monument to tribute him close to the square. Also there...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
