I've run on some nice tracks, including Stanford in California but this has to take the cake, wonderful environment and the track is in a great condition and apparently open at all times for everyone. Ideal conditions for some hard interval training, you wouldn't want...More

To have a go at the Olympic games of 1940 Mussolini had this stadium and a lot of other sport buildings erected from 1928. The Olympic games of 1940 never took place. This stadium was completed in 1938. It was used at the 1960's Olympic...More

A fantastic public place that is free! Such an amazing place to sit and soak up the sun and the beautiful figures that adorn the track. An inspirational place.....

This was a very unexpected find....the statues are beautiful. The only problem was they were erecting a stage for a concert which spoiled the overall view. Still lovely.

This was just an absolute joy... We had bought our tickets online and we arrived fairly early to explore before the match and had fun simply walking around. The site is just amazing, with towering statues of 'athletic gods' everywhere you go. The atmosphere was...More

This was our first stop in Rome. I was very keen on seeing the sculptures featuring sports men. They were STUNNING. The place is so cinematic, the statues look amazing against the striking blue skies. It's such a homoerotic place. The statues are very sensual...More

We came to see some top leve tennis. Tickets were available on the spot with very short queues, did not need to buy in advance. The venue is beautiful, scenic and quite large. Food, drinks and ice cream are reasonably priced, not any higher than...More

No. It's a public space and free of entrance. Many people are there for evening jogging or exercise.
