I was disappointed, as we were'nt able to go down to the waters edge in the cave. I have been a few times before as a youngster and wanted to take my wife down.

Absolutely stunning and quick as well. Parked near the restaurant, walked down to the grotto, through the monestary and walked right to the view.

Gaeta is one of the hidden jewels in italy . Beaches and town are very beautiful. Must place to visit when in Gaeta , you won’t regret it .

Wonderful wiev, everything is clean and well done. Easy to arrive, easy to park. Free access. This is an attaction you must see in Gaeta.

It might be possible but might be illegal. I have no idea really but there are cliffs all along the Amalfi coast. You may want to check out an extreme sports guide book.
