When I first saw a metro station as a tourist attraction I wasn't convinced that I should pay a visit. I did and it was unexpectedly beautiful and artistic!

If you travel on LIne 1 metro in Naples, get off at Toledo station even if you have no business in via Toledo (btw. this is where all the fashion stores are). Stunning decoration.

It is worth visiting if you are walking around or staying close. Probably not worth seeing if you do not stay close. It is interesting but there are many other more interesting things in Naples. However, if you are travelling with children, they will love...More

We did a "station tour" on our own to see all the art stations. Toledo with its purple shimmer was a highlight. Get off the metro and experience this beauty (but have a look at the others as well)

I really enjoyed the escalator ride down, looking up at the cool ceiling and the hole all the way up to the ground level. Very neat and worth the one euro “admission” (aka train ticket) price

We came from Sorrento to visit Naples on a Sunday by the local train. It was a long journey! We bought an all day ticket for the metro and hopped on at Garibaldi (line 1) to visit Toledo. It is absolutely stunning! Designed with a...More

I would really recommend visiting the station just to see it. Absolutely beautiful. Probably the loveliest underground station in the world.

The Toledo station is strangely beautiful. There are mosaics and lights which give it an almost otherworldly feeling.

Hi. We used the concierge services at the hotel. Its a great city for walking. We used google maps when we needed help. Would highly recommend a day trip to the Amalfi Coast.

Not that I'm aware of....but contrary to previous answer I have seen in the old part of the city, around Spaccanapoli, tables and makeshift kiosks selling "homemade" art, some better than others. Don't know if I would call... More
