A lot of graffiti and rubbish outside and a lot of homeless people and High police presence. The inside is very surprising as it’s pretty clean, bright and cheerful and huge.

The station itself seemed bright and spacious and the ticket staff were fine. Yes, it's in a dodgy area by night, as are many railway stations around the world. Pickpockets? I believe all the negative reviews, and therefore never carry valuables in a pickpocket-friendly way....More

As a station, it's fine. The trains run mostly on time, they're a bit crowded, not enough seats and they're not that expensive. But the God Damn pickpockets are. The platform was crowded and a couple kept pushing into one of my friends, then we...More

Yes, I got my reading glasses picked pocketed by four aggressive of African decent guys whilst sweating in line for train tickets to Amalfi Coast. Glasses in case were in the mesh outer side of back pack. Three of them pushed thru the line and...More

We transferred here on our way to Sorrento (Garibaldi station, downstairs). It's a big station with stores and kiosks, like any train station throughout the world. Keep an eye on your bags and be aware of your surroundings and you'll be ok. We did travel...More

Utilized Napoli Station for connecting trains to and from Rome to Salerno. There are several negative reviews of the place, fortunately I had a pleasant experience. Yes, be vigilant about pick-pockets and crime in general just as you would be if you were in your...More
