The imaginative double-flighted staircase leads to the outstanding opulent 14th century chapel of Santa Monica. It contains grandiose funerary monument, with seated statues dominating the single-nave interior. I went to this church by myself one morning and it is a beautiful little Church. It is well maintained and not too big. Like many churches in Naples it will benefit from some work to keep it maintained properly but still nice to visit.
