The historical part of Naples is amazing from its narrow streets to its incredible churches and artwork. Just to wander through here is a treat, taking in the original Margherita pizza in the city it was created.Loved it and apart from the scare stories that...More

Just strolling around the old center of Naples is great. The main square has a feel of the Vatican City, as some other have pointed out, and the Basilica of San Francisco de Paula reminds me of the Pantheon (somehow). Palazzo Real is full of...More

I found the closer you are to the coast the cleaner and prettier the city it. There are some great things about Naples but the city is quite dirty once it is out of the touristic district.

This area of the city is nice although a bit dirty. Street cleaning appears to never ever happen. However wandering the streets and going to the small shops and churches is very fun.

There are a lot of historic buildings in Naples and this is something to see. However it is also where a lot of the young people hang out at night and it can get kind of noisy.

Just walk through the old town, for example down Via Tribunale - filled with shops and cafes.
