After Google imaging the city of Naples, we decided to stay here because it looked gorgeous and was close to Pompei/Vesuvius. Being so close to those places is the only reason I gave it two stars rather than one. The city was very dirty, full...More

Before arriving in Napoli I had heard nothing but bad reports about this wonderful city. I had heard about the lawless nature of the city, the crazy driving, the dirt and the pickpockets. What a surprise when I arrived to find a vibrant and manically...More

Use a guide to get the best of your walking tour of Naples. I strongly recommend you venture up side streets to see how the locals live. Shoe repair shops and ms one works that seem to have survived a 100 Year’s intact.

Naples is really a warm and magical city, helpful and nice people, tasty and cheap food, a lot of places to visit and great weather. But please stay in safe places and be careful about your belongings.

Just arrived back after a week in Naples...I cannot understand anyone who believes it to be a city of any note. Most streets are littered beyond any acceptability - dog mess everyewhere - graffitti adorns the vast majority of buildings and trains (which are just...More

Our Naples visit was defiantly the highlight of our stay in Italy; it has loads to see and do ‘Great food, Museums, churches, and Pompeii’. However it would not win city of the year. It does need a good tidy up and the tube line...More
