My husband & I hired a boat/captain for a few hours. We had a fabulous time and were able to do the Green Grotta as the Blue was closed (again!) Our captain was fabulous and took us all around Capri & in/out of several quaint...More

I have never seen water as vividly emerald green as in the Green Grotto, and our visit was on a grey, overcast day. We used a 1 hour island boat trip from Capri Harbour, without the extra option of a Blue Grotto tour, and it...More

I don't think the Green Grotto is a stand-alone visit but is part of the Blue Grotto Tour that is advertised. I found it beautiful as part of the total experience although the Green Grotto in Amalfi was more interesting for me. The good thing...More

You'll need a boat tour to see the Green Grotto, but it's every bit as lovely as the Blue Grotto, and without the crowds.

The green grotto was so beautiful. I wish we would have taken a boat that allowed us to swim around. If you go, you have to do the swimming one!

First this is blue grotto and not green grotto so admin may change the name. Second this is the most beautiful place in Capri and must visit. You need to take 20 min boat ride from Capri followed by 10 min ride in kayak. Amazing...More

the cruise around capri will take you to the grottos and this is one of them . It can be busy as a lot of boat cruise around. Best seat would be at the back of the boat for a good picture opportunity.

You can visit this grotta whenever (there is no cop/ticket-agent to stop you, unlike at Grotta Azurra): but note that the green hue is visible only during the sunlight. so, anytime when the sun is up should be fine. it... More
