Go here before the blue grotto or you will wonder why you came. As a spectacle to see nature at work fine but very much weather dependent to give the green colour

We had a private boat tour of Capri, and the driver told us about this place. We got to swim through it, and it was stunning. The water was super clear, and it was a special spot that my partner and I now share together....More

My husband & I hired a boat/captain for a few hours. We had a fabulous time and were able to do the Green Grotta as the Blue was closed (again!) Our captain was fabulous and took us all around Capri & in/out of several quaint...More

I have never seen water as vividly emerald green as in the Green Grotto, and our visit was on a grey, overcast day. We used a 1 hour island boat trip from Capri Harbour, without the extra option of a Blue Grotto tour, and it...More

I don't think the Green Grotto is a stand-alone visit but is part of the Blue Grotto Tour that is advertised. I found it beautiful as part of the total experience although the Green Grotto in Amalfi was more interesting for me. The good thing...More

You'll need a boat tour to see the Green Grotto, but it's every bit as lovely as the Blue Grotto, and without the crowds.

The Green Grotto is one of the many grottos on Capri that you can enter through the water on a boat. We rented a boat and traveled around the island stopping at some of the sights and achoring down and swimming off the boat. We...More

The green grotto was so beautiful. I wish we would have taken a boat that allowed us to swim around. If you go, you have to do the swimming one!

The color and clarity of the water around Capri is astounding. It's absolutely beautiful. The colors are so rich and vivid. We took a fairly large boat (at least 50 people) on a tour around the island, and it stopped at each grotto. Despite the...More
