Used this lift a few times when in Sorrento. Was much quicker than walking down in extremely hot weather. €1.90 return or €1 single. No queues, no hassle. Just pay and use. Down in port in less than a minute!

There is a small cost to use this lift but it is so much easier than going down hundreds of uneven steps. It is very clean and easy to use.

My husband and I took this chairlift to the top of Mount Solaro and it was amazing. The view from the top is spectacular. These are single chairlifts and you feel like you are the closest thing to zip lining but safer.

Euro 1.80 return its the only way to travel, the roads a nightmare or try the steps!!! I was going to say down to the beach but there is not one, a few plateforms with beach chairs on them. You need to go to Cornwall...More

If you don't fancy walking up from the shoreline (walking down isn't much of a problem) then you need to use the lift. Expensive for what it is (1 Euro) it will save some time and effort.

Got back from a trip to Capri, and the thought of climbing 1000 stairs back to town in 25 degrees did not appeal to my old legs. For 1 euro I was up there in 20 seconds and and able to find a bar for...More

For 1 Euro each its well spent and saves time and the legs. Attendant at top and bottom so no problems using lift.

Without this lift it would have been very difficult to gain access to the port area. At a nominal cost of 1.8 euro and free for a person in a wheelchair it couldn't be better value. Clean and well maintained with attendants top and bottom...More

I don't like spending money when I don't have to but this is 100% worth every penny (it's only 1 euro one way)! Sorrento is far too hot to walk down the cliff to the port, and the port is too pretty to not see....More

It's a lift, nothing special. But after a day in the hot and humid town €1 to be taken through the steep cliff from port to main areas was worth it.
