The best way to see the Amalfi Coast is by water. I was able to stand at the back of the boat and get photos since the windows were in need of cleaning. This did provide more options though.

Debated driving from Salerno to Positano and back but made the best decision to use travel mar ferry. It left Salerno on time Sunday morning about 3/4 full. A glorious sunny day and the sea was calm. Fairly close to the coastline at times so...More

I experienced the worst service from this company. The man at the ferry dock overcharged me for luggage fees (which I did not have) and when I went to see if I could refund this, the man LAUGHED at me and said “No, I don’t...More

Purchased my tickets online about a month before my trip, I would recommend this specially for weekends or during the summer when it might get busy; if you buy your tickets online you need to exchange them for a real ticket at the TravelMar booth,...More

Travelmar offers boat connections between the different cities at Amalfi Coast. It is rather expensive but we considered the comfort and speed in relation to a bus connection good. Keep in mind that the service is regular suspended to the wind, which makes it difficult...More

You are not far off shore with Travelmar, you get a nice view as you cruise along the coast. My hotel overlooked the ocean and when watching the boats, they all followed a fairly similar track.

Yes, it's across from Piazza Concordia. There are signs at the entrance to the marina telling you where to go. Very easy to find.
