We had a wonderful food tour of Pescara with Anna. Every location she took us to was a perfect example of the typical foods of Abruzzo. Learned so much about how Italians approach things like cheese selections and their dedication to high quality. Anna provided so much detail. It was more than just a food tour. It was a cultural tour! Grazie Mille Anna!

Anna was an excellent food tour guide. She really knew the ins and outs of Pescara. The food was so plentiful and delicious. It was a perfect way to be introduced to a beautiful city and a fantastic culinary history of Abruzzo. Definitely would give this a 5/5 highly recommended!

Thanks to Anna, we had a lovely morning tasting amazing foods and getting a feel for the place! We went back to 3 of the venues so it was really good to do the tour on our first day. Thank you for your enthusiasm and passion for the food you shared with us!

Booked the food tour for the day after arriving to get a sense of our surroundings and try some local , traditional produce. Our guide Anna was fantastic; friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about Abruzzo food. We stopped at various local places which we may not have visited otherwise , to sample a variety of sweet and savoury dishes all with a historical connection to the Abruzzo region and it’s people . Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend to anyone who enjoys learning about the real people, and dishes, of the region .

It’s not only a food tour but a snap shot into the history of this lovely city in the Abruzzo region of Italy brilliantly delivered by our host Anna. The tour encompasses a great selection of local delicacies to offer a truthful insight into this fabulous area.

My absolute favourite was the selection of meat and cheese, I’m definitely returning for another platter!

What a great morning we had with Anna who not only took us to some excellent eateries but was so willing to share her knowledge of Pescara and the wider Abruzzo region. In the end it was like talking to an old friend. It was a very small group so everyone was involved in the conversation and was able to ask questions. The food tastings were delicious and we were given a wide range. Thank you Anna for a wonderful morning.

Anna is welcoming, knowledgeable, & keeps a group at a comfortable pace as the eat their way through historic Pescara. Our small group teased that there was definitely more eating than walking BUT, this fact should not be taken for granted. A food tour with Anna is definitely worth dollars spent! Further, her unique insights resulting from established relationships with suppliers & providers give visitors an unique, appreciated perspective on the entire Abruzzo region. Starting one’s time in Pescara on a food tour with Anna is a fantastic way to ensure a wonderful holiday filled with hospitality!

This was such a lovely way to spend a morning. Anna was friendly and informative and introduced us to places we wouldn’t have found ourselves in Pescara. The food was all delicious and had a story behind it. I would highly recommend doing it if you are in the area.

Anna, was very passionate and knowledgeable about the local food, origin and history with each of the places we visited. The tastings we had were all delicious.
The warning before the tour to have a light breakfast was needed as without being hungry before you start you might not try all the food.
The walking between some of the stops was short ,so be prepared. Some further walking after the tour was needed to let the food go down.
This gave us some great ideas for places to visit during our stay in Pescara. Ideally the tour is great just after you arrive so that you can get an overview of the town. We have since revisited some of the places already.
