If you want to eat in a relax and shady environment, the park is a good place to go. You have enough seatings aroud. You can buy food to go at the Cortes Ingles (-1 supermarket) or at the Mercadona next to it. Very enjoyable!

Nice place to go and sit out of the sun. Bit tired looking could do with a spruce up and maybe a place to buy a drink or go to the toilets.

A typical park in Spanish towns - very well laid out with a good mixture of trees and plants. Some lovely ceramic tiled benches for sitting on and taking in the surroundings

On the outer edges of the town, quite a large area with several pathways to walk through with trees, plants, birds and places to sit and contemplate

Visited Castellon in August. Ribalta is a great place for morning jogging: silent beautiful park with a few people in the morning situated in the city centre. There are chances for free wifi provided by the nearest cafes.

I walked through this park from my hotel to the city. I spent much more time just looking at all the marvellous plants with are very well maintained and the various sculptures of famous people. The park is well worth a separate visit.
