Just next to Retiro park.. busy road all around but this monument is a peaceful respite. Definitely one of the sights to see in Madrid. There's a bench to sit on with the monument in the background for memorable pictures.

An imposing monument with 2 distinctly different sides and both are worth seeing. Traffic is very heavy so be careful - we saw two people taking selfies on the pedestrian crossing which irritated several drivers.

Classy gate and roundabout in a beautiful Madrid barrio. Right next to the most beautiful park I've ever seen the parque del Retiro.
