Toledo and Segovia Tour with Alcazar Entrance from Madrid

1 016 reviews
Visiting both Toledo and Segovia in a day from Madrid is near impossible without a car rental and some serious time management. On this trip, you get to see both cities as a guide charts their history, minus the stress of organizing transport. Plus, you’re certain of seeing the key sights, including Toledo’s Primada Cathedral, and Segovia’s Roman aqueduct and Alcazar. Ideal if you’re pressed for time and want a day out of Madrid.

Twice a month in Train Museum of Madrid, near of Delicias train station, you can discover some representative examples of craftmen and craftwomen works. Clothes, shoes, fornitures, toys between trains. Some food trucks are available if you are hunger or want some drink. Regional food and second hand clothes are so cute. I really recommend visit it!!!

Tucked between old locomotives in the old railway station just around the corner from Delicias Metro station, is a farmers' market, good quality products and friendly stall-holders. You can even get a coffee in one of the old carriages. Outside, is a flea market. When we went there was a raucous band on. Bit of an unwelcome contrast to the atmosphere inside. There was even a free dog-minding service and little steam train rides for kids.

What a great place to visit, a very upmarket flea market set amongst locomotives with great burgers and other food in the sunshine at the rear. Thoroughly enjoyed an hour and a half here and a quick dance to the salsa band to boot! Remember this market is only on the second weekend of the month. Hint: the outdoor takeaway area has seating but it's normally so busy you can't find a seat. Instead, go further around the corner of the building where's there's often free spaces to sit.

A small market with at the end some food and drink stalls. Great food, different than standard food stalls. Good market to visit to drink some with friends, not many tourists.

If you are visiting Madrid, I strongly recommend you this spot. It's located in an old train station, Delicias, and takes place once a month usually the first weekend, but check the dates. You will find a Flea Market and artisans that offer their products. There is huge open place where you can hear live music while having a beer or eating something offered from different food trucks. Definitely a good idea for the sunny days but be prepared for an overcrowded atmosphere.
