Review of: Avila and Segovia on your own from Madrid
Both Avila and Segovia world heritage sites are worth visiting but I can not recommend Trapsatur to take you there. A good tour guide can truly enhance a visit and sadly we did not get one. Our guide had learned the script but offered none of the insights and extras that add real value. He provided no information other than where to meet the coach, not thinking to tell us that other than the monuments everything else would be closed for example. He was totally unaware of the group at all times and just raced ahead, even when someone had a nasty fall. Perhaps some advice about the low bollards and trip hazards might have been helpful? To top it all, a soulless coach driver was happy to sit in his warm coach whilst a growing group of us stood outside in the cold. He simply tapped his watch, waved his finger and refused to open the door until the exact departure time. So, do visit these wonderful cities but DO NOT visit with Trapsatur. …

Dear customer: We apologize that you think that your experience was not good, but all our guides are professional guides and they give to the customer all the keys to can enjoy the cities that you visit with Trapsatur. Trapsatur and their guides have a responsibility to keep the group comfortable during the excursion and we're sure that this applies to all of our tour without exception. Also, we remind that Ávila and Segovia have two kinds of tours with and without tickets, this second means that you can't go inside with the guide and the explanation of the monuments are given inside, the customer without tickets have a little introduction before. Finally, we would like to mention that forbids open the bus door in the resting time of the bus driver According to the law in force isn't his responsibility until the guide comes with all the group. Thank's for your time Best Regards.

Dear friend: Thanks for your comments, we are sorry that the alternative we offered for visiting Toledo did not fit your agenda; please note that the used conveyance may vary exceptionally, and the order of the services with them, that was this case. We hope we can compensate you in a future time. Thanks again, Best regards,

Any tour company with a bus can get you to Avila and Segovia and that's basically what this tour was. First, the 8:30 arrival and 8:45 departure should be amended to 9:00 / 9:15. Second, the "English tour" was a Spanish tour with English added on. This doubles the time to explain the tour sites and inevitability reduces the amount of information shared. Third, the stops in Avila rush past the best sites (city walls, large gothic cathedral) and focus on others. Fourth, the Segovia trip rushes through both the cathedral and castle and neither include the tower tour. Do yourself a favor and find a different company than Trapsatur. Both destinations are incredible and you deserve a tour company that treats the destinations as such.…

Dear Customer, We regret not having reached your expectations. On all platforms, we have published that our departure time at 09:00, and the meeting point presentation is at 08:30. Our guides say the same information about the history of the cities and their monuments in Spanish and English. We work in all our tours in both languages, and the itinerary and the time are ready for it. We know the wealth of monuments that these two magnificent cities have, that's the reason that we had choosen the monuments that we consider more characteristics and more visited in Ávila & Segovia. The walls in Avila are not included because they are not available throughout the year, in winter sometimes they are closed as a caution. To access the tower you have to climb 250 steps and we want a tour accessible for all our customers. Also, we have published the itinerary and the monuments that we are going to visit in each city. We are clear in the information we offer in order to give to our potential customers the option to compare with other similar tours before making the purchase. We take advantage of the time in 9 h of tour you can get an idea of the most important of these two cities. Thank you for your comment, it helps us to improve.
