I am a bit averse to paying to go into churches - you do pay a small entrance fee but this does include a museum as well which was more than worth a look. In any case, these ancient churches do probably need every penny....More

During our long journey around Spain we handed up in Santo Domingo De la calzada La Rioja and there we discovered this wonderful catedral. For 3 euros we stay a while to meditate on our great fortune!
