This is one of the more interesting of the many small plazas in Santiago, dedicated to the writer, Cervantes. There’s a monument to him in the middle of the plaza. There’s an interesting church on one side and then a series of historic buildings on...More

Plaza Cervantes located on Plaza Fonseca is a public square surrounded by small shops, cafes and restaurants. The narrow streets around the square will lead pilgrims to the final destination. The old street with traditional buildings on both sides is nice targets for photo-taking. It...More

The Plaza is so filled with people that you may loose yourself easily fi you're not careful, as many people travel here all the time. I would recommend to come carrying light as things can disappear.

Nice old small street with big stones and a quit little picturesque place; small shops and cafes, restaurants; invite to make a nice stroll in the evening.

Bars, narrow streets around and an arch make this a busy little plaza. How many plaza's are there in Santiago de Compostela?

This is a good reference plaza. I got confused a few times even with a map. I seamed to end up at this plaza which ever way I had walked. once you understand the streets it becomes easier. Lots of small shops around this area.
