Walk was in with can support if required after lunch as usually option to shorten walk if required however I chose to walk total distance each day. Those in charge of group were wonderful with everything working like clockwork and most accommodating along the way....More

Doing the walk mostly down hill from the monuments outside the city gives you a little feel fo the journey. You may come across some pilgrims. Don’t hesitate to ask them about there experience. It’s fairly well marked even in town.

I started in Pamplona but most people who started in St Jean fly to Biarritz and share cabs or get a bus.

They use the Euro, worth about US$1.25. Coffee/mineral water/soda/fresh orange juices run between 1 and 3 Euros.
