I visited the church in July. Almost as soon as I entered a felt a strong negative energy. While it is beautiful, there was no sense of the holy here, only of death and dying. This was later confirmed by one of the self-guiding information...More

We were with a group of 140 people. Contrary to other years, the lunch was not good. The entrees were reasonable. The first course consisted of fish with shrimps and baby eel and tasted much too fishy. The main course was fish again. After this...More

The outside of this building, while impressive, belies the magnificence inside. Stunning architecture, sculpture, breathtaking altars. Plan on 1.5-2.5 hours to do this justice.

We stayed at this hotel, formerly a monastery. Although the rooms are small (ex cells) they are light and well decorated, and the bathroom although bijou, was modern with a good shower. The breakfast was good apart from the coffee, which came from a machine...More
