As far as beaches in large cities go, this is one of the best beaches I have been to in a long time. It is clean and pleasant, as well as not too crowded which lends to it a calm ambience. The water too was...More

Big waves..... sandy walks... a great experience on the Atlantic Coast. Surely we'll visit again! Riazor stadium is a good attraction and the cafés on the beach offer spectacular views.

Wonderful beach, located in a bay. It's the main place to enjoy the sea. If you have the opportunity you should go in a night of San Juan. The beach is full of people to celebrate the local festivities.

This is a beautiful beach in the city centre. It has a great promenade where you can walk/run/cycle for a few kilometres. You can have it all to yourself early in the morning. Great views all around the bay from here.

The beach is great, long, clean and accessible. You have to experience the sunset here, if possible around the summer solstice... It is just amazing to be in town and look at the sun going down beyond the Atlantic...

Beautiful beach right in town. Very well maintained and large. Lots of benches to sit and enjoy the beautiful view!

Attractive city beach with soft white sand. Excellent promenade walk around the expansive bay. Pity there are not more attractions and more bars, cafes and restaurants on the promenade - there are a few at the Riazor end but otherwise they are mostly tucked away...More

Beautiful beach with a rough sea almost all of the time. This is just in front of Deportivo's Rizaor Stadium. Nice to walk the beach from one side to the other.
