These gardens near the old city district are unremarkable apart from the tomb of General Sir John Moore, who was killed at the Battle of Guvina near A Corunna in 1809. There are also monuments to other British military casualties of various conflicts and disasters.

A very tranquil setting in the city. This is where Sir John Moore was buried. Very fitting for his final resting spot as the view overlooking the bay is excellent.

San Carlos Garden contains the Tomb of Sir John Moore the Penninsula War general. Both the tomb and the gardens are excellently maintained and offer spectacular views over the harbour. WC facilities on site

San Carlos gardens hold the tomb of Sir John Moore (google to find out the history) there is a small viewing gallery where you can oversee the entrance to Coruña. It is situated in the old town.
