Tarragona Alta is vertebrated around the beautiful Carrer Major, but I advise to stroll along the nearby streets and passages not so contaminated by tourist shops pressure. You will find charming corners which remind middle age and even roman tradition

The old streets of Tarragona are beautiful and are a must if you're in the area. Getting lost in the streets full of small shops and restaurants is highly recommended.

The old section of Tarragona is a rabbit's warren of small twisting streets set on the side of h hill. Capped by the Basilica. Thankfully a pedestrian only area. Good strolling on the steep streets and not too much to do or see.

Beautiful city! Enjoyed strolling the streets during the night and morning. The view of the sea is amazing and the local atmosphere was very cozy outside of Barcelona.

When the taxi drive told us, we would have to walk the last 500 feet to our apartment in the Casco Antiguo de Tarragona, I had no idea about what my eyes would see. It was like I had entered in a time warp....I was...More

The old town of Tarragona, with its narrow streets and historic architecture, is a beautiful place that is worth the visit. It's topography makes it even more attractive, and reminded me of the Alfama district in Lisbon or the historic town of Bergamo, in Italy....More
