This statue and surrounding area are well kept and have very pretty gardens, not sure of the history of the statue subject but the square is very attractive and there is a lovely patisserie and cafe serving good coffee and croissants in the mornings.

A bit hidden away but an interesting statue to someone very important to the town. Always surronded by nice flowers and usually some friendly cats!
