Beautiful little streets, cathedrals, shops and cafes! Make sure you take a good camera! And look for the "Walk of Shame" location from Game of Thrones!

Best at night, in my opinion, when the street lights offer shadows and ambience in spades, and there are fewer tourists. We felt completely safe by the way.

After visiting the magnificent Cathedral we walked to the Jewish quarter. What’s left is just a small part of it with lovely shops , a Jewish center, a Jewish museum and lovely cafes and restaurants.

Really beautiful part of Girona bursting with history and well worth the climb. The museum is very interesting and there are numerous charming cafes nearby.

We enjoyed the history, shops, restaurants, museums, narrow streets and floral art installations -- we were there during the annual flower festival. May is a great time to visit. Be sure to walk along the ramparts!

Check a blog and some pics of Arya begging before heading to this place. We were lucky to be able to find exact place where she is begging at the corner behind the big Cathedral Girona.

Only a few narrow streets remain of what was once a much larger community. Although we only had coffees, there are many shops to wander past. What is left is well preserved from over 1000 years ago. Hard to believe anyone or thing could get...More
