If you're in the area, well worth a walk to see this lovely site. Meandering paths, lovely sites, many great restaurants makes for an easy peaceful day.

Strolling around this part of Girona is a must if you have more than 45 minutes to spare. Treat yourself to a restaurant visit too, because it is full of hidden gem restaurants.

I traveled to Girona alone and there was no problems with safety at all. You can walk around the town within 20 mins and be perfectly safe. I did have a few late nights drinking etc and had no issues with fights or violence... More
