I consider myself a love of abstract art... but this one isn't for me. Just me, or is it just me? I didn't go there to look at this sculpture though. The general area is by the sea, has many seafood restaurants and several local parks; a stroll around is very pleasant.

It was nice to see but you wouldn’t need an hour. The surroundings make it worth a look. I wouldn’t go out of my way to view unless you had a particular interest in this type of sculpture or the artist.

Looked good, but I just couldn’t understand where the title of David and Goliath cane from. The descriptions says duration is about an hour. More like 5 minutes while crossing the road for a picture in my opinion. All in all nothing wrong, but I guess I’m not a great lover of modern art. …

I simply could not visualise how this art-piece is representative of David & Goliath, no matter how hard I tried. It was erected in the Parc de Les Cascades in 1992 and is constructed of a large white rectangular steel piece supported by three twisting stainless steel legs. This is a white face representing sheets drying in the wind and is intended to evoke memories of the long demolished neighbourhood. Now, I could not see David & Goliath and I certainly could see sheets drying and I fail to understand how there are two interpretations for this sculpture.
